Children
When children struggle with mental and emotional difficulties it can be confusing because they often communicate through behavior.
Children struggling with mental illness can sometimes show signs of irritability, fatigue, frequent and/or intense tantrums, sadness, trouble making friends, trouble concentrating in school, angry outbursts, defiance or lack of motivation.
I have experience treating the following conditions with evidence-based therapies:
Anxiety
Depression
Adjustment Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Trichotillomania
Behavioral difficulties
Trauma
It can be scary to see your child change from being carefree and full of life, to showing new, confusing behaviors and exhibiting worry or unhappiness. There is hope. I am committed to working with children and families to help them recover and experience more joy and fun again.
